See story in Scribe. Summary: Tosha is the Vice Chairperson of her school’s Sexual and Gender Based Violence and Sexual Exploitation (SGBV/SE) Students’ Committee, in Nyarugusu Refugee Camp. She was supported by World Vision’s SGBV/SE program when she became pregnant at 15 and decided to drop out of school. Through her role in the student committee, Tosha works to help prevent gender based abuse, provide a safe forum where students can report abuse that the committee can refer to World Vision’s SGBV/SE team, and support young people affected by violence or sexual exploitation to resume their education.
